Babylonstoren is one of South Africa’s most iconic and treasured wine farms, and we were excited to collaborate with them to create their brand film. Their wine farm and hotel are enveloped in the Stellenbosch mountains making it one of the most scenic venues in the country. The vision for the brand film was to showcase all of Babylonstoren’s service offerings and the location itself. As a brand that focuses on luxury, beautifully crafted experiences for their customers, we wanted this to be evident in the film.
Our model was lucky enough to experience all the delights that Babylonstoren has to offer and the genuine reaction of wonder and bliss in every moment was captured on film. In the experience of wine tasting, visiting the spa or staying at the hotel, there are so many micro-experiences that Babylonstoren pays attention to. No experiential detail is overlooked, and this attention to detail is an essential part of their brand messaging and digital content.
In delivering this brand message of detail, intimacy and bliss we wanted to visually depict all the micro-moments that Babylonstoren specialises in. We visited their greenhouse and herb garden, which were sensual and botanical. Their orchards and cactus garden were exquisite, not to mention their wine tastings and spa facilities. We wanted to remind audiences of all the things that make Babylonstoren as iconic as it is and give a sense of what it’s like to visit the farm, even if it’s just through social media.
All these intimate and beautiful moments captured on film can be used on all their digital platforms and in many different formats, such as website and email marketing, Instagram reels or stories to showcase the brand. Having a well-crafted brand film, Babylonstoren are able to maximise their digital marketing content and increase brand awareness.
